Crispin Glover would make THE perfect Count Olaf. Opinions?

I প্রণয় Jim Carrey, I have since I was little. But he was just not right for the role of Count Olaf. The casting directors did a crap job in a lot of it, they made it a family comedy, when it should never have been for kids in the first place, it should never have been like this... I প্রণয় it, প্রণয় the actors, Meryl Streep, Billy Connelly, Timothy Spall, all of them, but they were wrong for the roles.

I think Crispin Glover would be amazing as Count Olaf...

the image featured is of Crispin Glover as the main character in the film remake of 'Willard', in which he is astounding...

I'd like to know everyone's opinions...

Count Olaf is MEANT to be terrifying. He is nasty, selfish, murderous and filthy, he cares for no one and loves only money and himself. I do hope people would give reasons for their disagreement, if they have one...

I loved Jim as the rose Crispin is totally and utterly horrifying he scares me to death and I agree with the casting somewhat. I প্রণয় Timothy Spall and Billy Connoley as Mr. Poe and Monty but I would have liked Meryl to play Esme

I think that should have been the point. Count Olaf wasn't funny. He wasn't comedic and bumbling like Jim is, he WAS horrifying, the Baudelaire's opinions and মতামত on him are clear... thank আপনি for your answer...

I'd have to dissagree, Count Olaf thought he was a wonderful actor, and, to me at least, was quite funny. I thought pretty much everyone in the movie was good for their role, ecsept for Klaus, he REALLY needed glasses.
