I didn't read the books yet but I'm going to maybe that will change my mind since books are mostly better

I think they are both wonderful. I'm one of those people who gets stoked that the movie is being made- hopefully it will make more people want to read it. Plus, no matter how it differs from the book, I always love the movie. It's a... weakness? I guess I always end up judging it as a movie, not an adaption, and just see it as an added bonus when the movie is accurate.

I thought the movie was great, however it obviously could not encompass Lemony's fabulous style of writing.

the books are so much better, although the movie was rather nice. they couldn't have chosen better people to portray the characters. it was a bit confusing though, how they made such a lot of changes
