I woke up to my phone ringing loudly from my night stand. I sat up with my eyes still closed and felt around for my phone.

"Hello?" I asked with a yawn.

"Oh my god! আপনি will never believe what happened!" Janet screamed into my ear.

"What time is it?" I didn't care about what she had to say. I'm clearly not a morning person.

She ignored me. "Mike Twinderstaff died!"

"Who's Mike Twinderstaff?"

She laughed. "I have no idea."

I sighed. "Then why do আপনি care if he died?"

"I don't" She ব্যক্ত simply. "I just thought Twinderstaff was a funny last name."

I slowly got out of বিছানা and looked at the clock. It was already eleven. "Is that the only reason why আপনি called me?"

As I picked out my outfit she talked. "No. I called because watching the news is boring."

I rolled my eyes. "Come over in an hour."

We ব্যক্ত our goodbyes and I got in the shower. "I'm just a teenage dirt bag baby. I'ma teenage dirt-bag baby.I listen to iron maiden baby. Oh Oh Oh." I sing in the shower.

It took my ten মিনিট until I felt completely clean. I got out and got dressed then brushed my teeth. দ্বারা the time I was done with my hair and eyeliner it was already eleven forty.

I walked down stairs and into the kitchen. Tanner was getting cereal. He saw me come downstairs and set a third bowl. He ব্যক্ত a quick good morning as I walked past him to get to the table.

And there was Blair. I could tell he showered with my shampoo because he স্মেল্ট like lemons. I thought about last night, and how he was there for me during the storm.

"Good morning." He smiled at me.

"It's not yours to use."

He rolled his eyes. "Your welcome for last night."

I narrowed my eyes. Before I could reply Tanner set a bowl of fruity pebbles in front of me. He gave Blair fruity pebbles as well.

"Your eating my cereal now to?' I asked him rudely.

Tanner raised his eyebrows and swallowed his captain crunch. "He has that every time he comes here."

I blinked twice. "Oh."

We ate in silence after that. Twenty painful মিনিট later there was a knock on my front door. I got up and ran to answer it. I was relived when Janet walked into my house with her bag.

"Hi guys." She called into the kitchen.

"Hi Janet!" They both called.

She followed me up to my room. As usual I laid on my বিছানা and she sat on my chair. We would sit there and talk about something until we thought ofa game অথবা something to do. Most of the time Tanner came up and asked us to hang out with him so we did.

I was face down on my বালিশ breathing through my nose and I স্মেল্ট something. It wasn't my shampoo. It was Blair. As much as I hate the kidI have to admit he smells amazing. "Ew." I mumbled.

Janet looked at me. "What?"

"My বালিশ smells like him." I looked over at her.

Her eyes lit up. "Who? What? Why?"

I threw the বালিশ that স্মেল্ট like that poor excuse for a boy at her. "That does." She স্মেল্ট it then was quiet for a few seconds. "Janet?"

"Why was Blair in your bed?!" She finally asked rather loudly.

"There was a thunder storm." I informed her. "And he was the only one around."

She nodded informing that she understood. "You must've been petrified."

I mock pouted. "I was!"

Then she smirked. Oh how I hated when she smirked. "He likes you."

"Pardon?"

"Blair likes you." She informed me. "It's obvious."

I stared at her blankly. "How so?"

"Well he kissed your cheek. He likes to get really close to you. And he laid with আপনি when আপনি were scared." She explained. I rolled my eyes at her. "If he hated আপনি why would he come lay with you?"

I rolled my eyes again. "Because he knows if he didn't I would've started yelling. Then Tanner would've woke up and beat him up."

Janet laughed. "This is true."

I smiled and stood up. "Lets go play Mario party."

She followed me downstairs and we turned on our N64. Just as we were about to start our 50 turn match Tanner and Blair walked down the stairs and stood right infront of the tv.

"Can I help you?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Can we play?" Tanner asked batting his eyelashes.

I sighed. "No."

Him and Blair pouted. "Fine. We will be at Blair's if আপনি need us."

They both stormed out of the house like a three বছর old that was told to get to bed. What losers.

"Wow." I said. "That was pathetic."

Janet smiled. "They are such drama queens."

"Yes." I hit start. "But they are, unfortunately, our drama queens."

Time had gotten away from us and before I knew it was already seven O'clock. I had just kicked Janet's গাধা in our third round of extreme Mario Party. The door opened and in walked Tanner.


"Where's your friend?" I asked as I watched the ending video.


"He had to clean his room before he came over."


I laughed. "How old is he five?"


"You know how is step-dad gets." Tanner said.


I didn't respond. After I rubbed it in Janet's face that I beat her three times in a row we went into my room. Of course I sat on the বিছানা and she sat in the chair.


I noticed that my বালিশ still স্মেল্ট like Blair and I frowned and tossed it to the floor.


"He smells so good." Janet told me. "How can আপনি not think so."


I wrinkled my nose. "I never ব্যক্ত it didn't smell good."


She rolled her eyes. "I don't get you."


I widened my eyes. I knew what was coming next. "Janet I swear if আপনি ask me I'm going to through something at you."

I picked up the first thing I could grab, which was a volleyball, and tossed it at her. It bounced out the door and rolled into the hall. We stared at each other blankly for a few moments.


"I'm not getting it." I told her.


She sighed and walked out the door mumbling something about my bad aim.


I waited for a few minutes. She still never came back. I was getting bored so I decided to go looking for her. I searched all the rooms upstairs. As I came to Tanners room I noticed the door was only half closed. I raised an eyebrow and gently pushed the door open.


"Oh my god." I accidentally ব্যক্ত out loud. "Ew."


Tanner was on শীর্ষ of Janet and they were making out on his bed. They looked at me like deer caught in the headlights. I stared blankly at them. I was the first to speak.

I crossed my arms. "Go ahead."


She shook he head. "I can't."


I shook my head. I turned around and stomped down the stairs. Slamming the front door I walked barefoot into the darkness. It was gross because she was my best friend and he was my brother. It was wrong because they didnt think to tell me. I would've been fine with it. It hurt that they didn't tell me.


As I walked down the stairs I ran right into something. That something reached অগ্রবর্তী and caught me before I fell. And that something happened to smell a lot like a certain boy I didn't want to see right now.


"I'm not in the mood right now Blair."


He kept his grip on me and tilted hid head. "What's wrong?"

"My brother and my best friend were just making out on my brothers bed."


"Why does that upset you?" He asked. "Did she ever tell আপনি she liked him?"

"Well that was probably her way of telling you."


I crossed my arms. "She ব্যক্ত your sexy. I don't see her making out with you."


He smirked to himself. "I'm sexy?"


"No." I wanted to say আরো but I wasn't in the mood.


"What? No rude remarks?"He asked. I could tell he was trying to push my buttons.

Then he took me be suprise and pulled me intohug. "Your not going to hug back?"


I hesitated before wrapping my arms around him. I closed my eyes sighed. "Do আপনি think it's messed up?"


He pulled away and looked down at me. "It's messed up that they didn't tell you."


I frowned. "Do আপনি think it's silly if I cry?"


He smiled sweetly and hugged me again. "Of course not."


I buried my head into his chest and let a few tears fall. He rested his head on mine and sighed. "You know standing here crying isn't going to help you."


"I know." I looked up at him. "I just needed to get that out of my system."


He wiped my tears away. "What are আপনি going to do now?"


I shrugged. "I have no idea."


"Well if আপনি want I can talk to Tanner."


"Okay." I smiled. He walked away and reached for the door. "Wait. Blair!"


He stopped in his tracks and turned to look at me. "What now?"


I smiled. "Thanks."


Instead of just excepting that and going inside he walked back down the steps and looked at me. "You say that a lot."


"My mother taught me to be polite." I ব্যক্ত snidely.


He crossed his arms. "So this is just manners, huh?" He smirked at me. "Nothing special?"


I knew he was kidding. But it bothered me. "No. It's just that..." I trailed off.


"It's just?"


I shrugged. "Your an asshole."


He smiled at me. "I'm an asshole?"


We stared at each other in silence. I put my hands on my hips and looked awkwardly at him. Today had been full of... surprises. This পরবর্তি surprise certainly put the icing on the cake.

I was speechless for a few seconds. "Blair. People who don't like each other don't kiss."


"It won't mean anything." He pleaded. "Please?"


I let my hands drop from my sides. "Fine."


He took a step closer to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. He smiled almost nervously at me before leaning in. I parted my lips slightly and took a deep breath before leaning in to meet him half way.
