Kates POV
For some odd reason, my dad and Tony called me and Garth into the Alpha dens. (Authors Note: Yes, the two packs are already united) I didn't know what for, but Garth thought he knew. "They called us to the Alpha dens becasue they are asking us if we want to যোগদান them in a hunt." I don't think that was the reason. "No, it can't be. We are too young. We haven't even began Alpha School yet, and আপনি are ready to hunt." He looked at me, with a toothy grin and says, "True. And maybe that's why they are calling us in, to tell us that we will be starting Alpha School soon."
Me and Garth finally got to the Alpha dens, were Tony, and my dad were waiting. I sat down in front of Winston, my dad, facing him, while Garth did the same. Tony spoke, "As আপনি know, আপনি both are Alphas. To become an Alpha, আপনি must complete Alpha School. Which is why we called আপনি in here." Garth gave me a look, that ব্যক্ত 'see? I told ya so!'
My dad spoke up next. "You will be trained, and tested on multiple things. Young ones, আপনি will be full grown Alphas দ্বারা the time your done with Alpha School. Any questions?" Garth had one: "When will we be done with Alpha School?" Tony answered, "In about a বছর অথবা so." If we are going to be gone for a whole year, that means not seeing Lilly অথবা Humphrey for a whole year. That means not seeing my friends, the rest of my family, অথবা my mother. But at least I had Garth with me. I also had a question. "When do we start Alpha School?" Tony, again, answered. "You leave for Alpha School in three hours." Three hours? That's not going to be enough time to get used to the fact that I won't see anybody, except the same three wolves, for a whole year! I had to spend as much time with everybody as possible. I ran out of the গর্ত to find Lilly and Humphrey, with Garth on my tail, to play with them. We, meaning me and Garth, had to make the most of the পরবর্তি three hours.
Lillys POV
Garth and Kate had ব্যক্ত that they were to go to the Alphas গর্ত to have a meeting with dad and Tony. I didn't know what for, but it sounded like they didn't know either.
All four of us, Humphrey, Garth, Kate, and me, are all pups. We are all really good friends. Humphrey was an Omega, just like me, while Kate and Garth were Alphas, but that didn't stop us from having really good times, অথবা getting into trouble.
Humphrey had walked out of the Omega den, (I sleep in the Alphas den, becasue me dad is the Head Alpha) and yawned, like he always did. And, again, like he always did, ব্যক্ত that we should go get something to eat, and I reminded him that Kate and Garth had a meeting with my dad and Garths dad, Tony. He looked at me, and said, "Well, I guess it's just আপনি and me then." I smiled, "Yeah, I guess it will be." We walked down infront of the Alphas den, where the dead animal carcass always was. It was the animal carcass from last night, so there was barely any meat left, but that was OK, we didn't eat that much, since we were still puppies.
When we had finished eating, we lifted our heads up, to see Kate and Garth running as fast as they could, it looked urgent. Garth had told us, "We leave in three hours for Alpha School!" I didn't know how to respond to that, so I just muttered, "That's great." Kate, looking sad almost, said, "No! That's not great! That means we won't see the both of আপনি for a whole year!" What? A whole বছর without my sister অথবা Garth? Humphrey, finally saying something, "Whoa, three hours? How come at the last মিনিট they tell আপনি this?" Garth said, "I don't know, but lets make the most of the পরবর্তি three hours." Everyone agreed. We all ran at eachother, laughed, played around, wrestled, that good stuff. Those three hours seemed like a lifetime, but my dad and Tony had told Kate and Garth that it was time to go, ruining that lifetime feeling.
It was sad seeing them leave, but they had to. It was their duty to become an Alpha. But that didn't stop me from crying. Before they started to leave, my dad had told me that theyu would be back. In the mean time I should keep Humphrey company."O-OK." was all I could whisper before the two Alphas, and two soon-to-be Alphas left for Alpha School.
Humphrey was there for me, he patted me back, and said, "Looks like it's just আপনি and me for awhile." I smiled, and cleared my eyes of any tears that were there, "Yeah, I guess so Humphrey."
