There are so many little things that made Anakin go to dark side:
Losing his mother, being frustrated by the council, not being a master, Palpatine...
But I do agree that the thought of loosing Padmé was the highlight.
So it's a mix of both.

It's a mixture of alot of factors, but I think his fear of losing Padme played a big part in it.

I think he really loved her, but that's me.

He was only disillusioned with the Jedi because he was led by Palpatine to believe that the masters were holding him back; he thought that if he had more power, he would be able to protect Padme forever.

i think though he was disappointed with the council the only reason palpatine could convince him to go to the dark side was to save padme so without her i don't think he would have gone to the dark side

I don't think it was just Padme, though; I think it was a combination of Palpatine's careful grooming (indeed, I think a lot of Anakin's darker moments are mostly due to Palpatine -- and Dooku, before Anakin killed him -- playing him like a puppet), stress, desire to save Padme (of course), desire to protect those he cares about (of course), the Council being a pack of douchebags, etc. And let's say Mace nearly succumbing to the Dark Side thanks to Sidious' manuevering (of course I'm mostly going off the ROTS novelization; feel free to correct me. :) -- yeah, I think it was ultimately Anakin's Well-Intentioned Extremist tendencies that drove him off the deep end. Poor boy.

Technically, I think he would have turned because that's the direction the writer wanted to go in but also less technical is that there were other factors like how he felt about being asked to spy in the Chancellor and stuff.

He would not to to the dark side if he was not in love with Padmé. He was angry at other thinks but it was not what made him go over to the dark side. He did it for love.

Well, Padme is the main reason why he turned into the dark side but I think others (not just Padme) can changed him too. Like his mother for example.

Anakin loved Padme so much, he truely believed that he can save her, which motivated him to join the dark side.
