We're all Otaku right? Well let's give some উপদেশ to the new Otaku (anime fan) shall we!?

OK...here's mine:
Of course আপনি can listen to Vocaloids. But for your own sake, don't watch the video of Heratenaide yo Onichaan and Yokorosex if your younger sibling অথবা older sibling অথবা cousin is sitting পরবর্তি to you.

Watch an entire প্রদর্শনী before আপনি recommend it to someone else especially a family member. It might have some suggestive themes অথবা really inapropriate things in it and আপনি don't really want someone thinking that you're into that especially if আপনি see them everyday.

i advise you, do not, i repeat, do not watch Rosario+Vampire it's awful, read the জাপানি কমিকস মাঙ্গা and don't go near High school of the Dead, it's a waste of time

Alright, time to throw in my two cents.
Don't be afraid of really obscure anime. Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan; they're not bad (most of them), but there's better stuff out there. Just know what your tolerance level is for violence, cursing, and sexual stuffs. Example: someone who has a low violence tolerance isn't gonna watch Black Lagoon while someone who hates anything sexual should stay away from Boku no Pico. Actually, never mind, EVERYONE should stay away from Boku no Pico. Shotacon....
Anyways, that's pretty much it. Know what আপনি like and what আপনি can tolerate, and build from there. I'm gonna tell আপনি now, most good জীবন্ত has cursing in it. I don't know why, but it does. There will always be the exception, but 95% of the time there will be at least one curse word in the প্রদর্শনী unless it is a Magical Girl জীবন্ত অথবা a Tournament anime. Good luck~

First don't refer yourself as an otaku if আপনি just started to watch anime.
সেকেন্ড watch whatever আপনি want just make sure to look at the genres first to see what'll be in the anime. Then watch it. If আপনি like it go watch others with the same genre.
