Well, I put all anime on hold because I have a lot of work to do, so I toned down on the Durarara!! (specifically Izaya) obsession a little. But I'd still say it's my most current one. X3 And K-On!, specifically Azusa, is my all-time obsession.

I'm too busy trying to make sure that I keep up with all the new shows that I like are coming out to really take time to have a particular obsession. There's usually not this many this far into the season. Most of them are romantic comedies or moe comedies with no male leads, in a school, fantasy, or sci fi setting, so I guess I could put down anime comedies as my obsession. My current anime obsession isn't actually an anime. It's actually Akihabara and all the anime related goodness that you can find around there, especially the giant anime ads on the buildings. Been going on pretend day trips on Street View for a few months now, and also using web cams, going to shop web pages, searching news, and looking up you tube videos. Someone in my anime club went there and brought me back some AKB48 CDs. Of course, Akiba's Trip is now out, so I've been having fun wandering around in that game, collecting flyers and stuff. It was fun to find that I already knew my way around by using Street View without ever having been there.

To Aru Majutsu no Index, but I'm mostly watching it for Accelerator :D

I'm currently obsessed with "Gegege no Kitaro." It was a manga created in 1959 by manga artist Shigeru Mizuki. Beside his mostly-decayed father, Kitaro is the last of his kind - The Ghost Tribe (幽霊族, yūrei zoku).

His macabre beginning is when his mother died when he was still in her, but he manged to be born and crawled out of the grave. His father, not wanting his son to be alone came back as one of his eyes and known as " Medama-Oyaji." He fights for peace between humans and yokai, which generally involves protecting the former from the wiles of the latter. Kitaro and his father are accompanied by Nezumi-Otoko (Rat-Man) and Neko-Musume (Cat-Girl).

Kitaro became an anime series in 1968 and four other anime versions were made as well - 1971, 1985, 1996 and 2007. I been havin' fantasies that I'm an OC in the anime - a western alley in human/yokai peace. And I'm friends with the team: Kitaro, his father, Neko-Musume and Nezumi-Otoko. I have a little dog who is like a girl version of Tintin's Snowy.

Of course as some friends do, we (Nezumi and I) would banter each other. But I would usually end up worrying about him - like in the 1968 version of the episode "The Ridge Yokai" (the Buruburu story)...My true feelin's never show..I 'm have a crush on him! (*Homer Simpson scream*)...ME! I mean for me to love someone that any other other woman would be afraid to look at?! (*shudder*)
