erikas father worked away to get money while her mother died i think because erikas mother used to sing her a song but as she is no longer with her she sigs it দ্বারা her self(this song is were princess annelies and erika first meet.

They might've just died because since they were so poor they might've died from starvation. অথবা the other possibility is they fled to get some money for their daughter. but probably they were killed দ্বারা madam carp.
