"Meow! Can't get me!" teased Redkit as she play fought with Bristlekit.
*Clink*
Redkit did not notice that Bristlekit had unsheathed his claws.
Bristlekit caught up to Redkit. Redkit turned around, ready to playfully swipe her paw with claws sheathed, but did not do it in time. Bristlekit swiped Redkit's face, claws unsheathed.
"Meow!!!" yowled Redkit. Scarlet blood oozed out of her nose and right cheek. She ran to her mom.
Swanflight was Redkit's mother.
Swanflight's eyes became wide.
"Holy StarClan, Redkit, what happened to you?!" cried the mother.
"Weakling." muttered Bristlekit under his breath.
Redkit began to explain what happened, and Bristlekit's mom, Wolfheart, was listening.
Redkit finished.
"So?" asked Wolfheart.
Swanflight stared at Wolfheart.
"What is the matter with you?!"
"The only reason Redkit got hurt is because she was a weakling!"
Bristlekit smiled.
"No I am not!" cried out Redkit, her face now red on the right side.
Swanflight carried Redkit to Whitefeather's den. She explained what happened. Whitefeather understood. She told Swanflight to tell Spottedstar. Swanflight agreed and ran off. And as she ran, Swanflight heard Redkit cry in the distancce, "That stings!"
