The rest of the ride to the victim's house was completely silent, and it was a slightly uncomfortable silence. They walked up to the door together, Booth's hand almost migrated to its usual place at her lower back, but he thought again and decided against it. It was almost as if she was reliving her parents flight 15 years later, except it was Booth this time. And in the back of her mind, she knew she had to give in. She had to trust him completely, because otherwise she'd miss out on the প্রণয় of her life. He couldn't wait forever, and she knew that.
