While Sarah Michelle Gellar may have a number of notable acting creds, the blond beauty\'s most important role is being a mom to her two children, Charlotte and Rocky.

"Being a mother is the greatest gift anyone has ever given me and having the honor to shape lives and watch them grow," the erstwhile

star gushed to E! News on Thursday at the Rebecca Taylor store in Los Angeles for the launch of the designer\'s Little White Dress Capsule Collection benefitting Baby Buggy.

The 37-year-old thesp has been happily married to hubby Freddie Prinze Jr. since 2002, and the proud parents plan to take full advantage of the Cali sunshine once their kids get out of school next month.

"We\'re just going to enjoy the summer," she shared. "When you first come here, you\'re like, \'Yeah, it\'s nice in California. The weather is always nice,\' but then you get to a place where you\'re like, \'Wow, I really need to take advantage of it.\' And we live close to the beach and we go to the beach at least two different times a week. Even at night, whether it\'s just to have dinner or collect shells or to play or to hike, I\'m really trying to take advantage of the fact that we are fortunate enough to have this weather."

The mother of two is also celebrating Father\'s Day today with her family, although she admitted that she doesn\'t have any big plans.

"To me, as a parent, we always say every day is Mother\'s Day and every day is Father\'s Day. We don\'t need a special day to celebrate," Gellar revealed before she quipped, "It\'s really just an excuse to have to pay more at the same restaurant we would\'ve saved less at last week."

And of course, we had to ask the gorgeous actress, who stunned in a white Rebecca Taylor frock and matching sandals, what she plans to do for her next Twitter milestone, considering she tweeted a rare selfie with her hubby after she reached 200,000 followers.

"I guess I\'ll have to do another one," she admitted. "Maybe I can get him shirtless." 

Careful, Sarah, your timeline is about to explode (but don\'t get your hopes up, folks!).

"It\'ll never happen," she added. "I can tell you right now, there\'s a better chance of me being shirtless in a photo probably than him."
