Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:

The Walking Dead Season 5 finished filming back in November, so all the actors have returned to normal life. The ones who will return for Season 6 should show up on set this spring, and we’re guessing Chandler Riggs (Carl Grimes) will be one of the returnees.
The 15-year-old actor sometimes spends his off-time on Ask.fm, where he occasionally answers fan questions, if they’re not too spoilery. He knows what’s coming for the rest of the Season 5, but fans just saw the Episode 8 midseason finale and were curious to get his reaction to Beth Greene’s (Emily Kinney) death.
How did you react when you read the script and you saw that Beth was going to die ?
well scott called all of us (like he always does with character deaths) and told us that she would be dying. i figured it was bound to happen sometime, so i wasnt like sobbing or anything. plus i havent really done a scene with her since the mid season finale of season 4, and before that was in like season 3. it wasnt like i hung out with her all the time, so it wasnt super devastating for me.

When Beth died where were you?
carl was in the fire truck with judith i guess
What was Emily\'s reaction when Scott told everyone Beth was gonna be killed off the show?
i dont know, he called us on the phone individually after work
What do you think the group will be like without beth?
Why do they make carl look really dumb in the show?
they dont? as of season 5, he\'s wiser than his own father lol
Chandler is a tell-it-like-it-is kinda guy, and you have to appreciate his pragmatic view of TWD deaths. He’s right that it was bound to happen sometime, it’s the name of the game for all of the characters. (Except maybe Carl himself. Robert Kirkman said even Rick wouldn’t survive the entire run of the comic book, but Carl …. this is Carl’s story.) But it seemed like Carl might have a crush on Beth at one point, so he’s lost a friend and crush target, at the very least.
Do you think there’s a Season 5 second half tease in that “wiser than his own father” line? Carl hasn’t had a major storyline so far, although he defended Father Gabriel as not a bad guy and tried to teach Father G how to defend himself. But we’re thinking Carl may get more action in the second half, once we get to a certain place.
Are you surprised by Chandler’s not-exactly-devastated reaction to Beth’s death, or did you figure he’d take it like a pro?
