Care to share some অ্যানিমেশন confessions?

1) Most of my পছন্দ characters aren't that complex অথবা at least as complex as I make them out to be.

2) I'm not the biggest অনুরাগী of anime's sense of humor, I always prefered কার্টুন in that regard.

3) A sob story doesn't automatically make a character a complex;It usually just has the purpose of grabbing sympathy অথবা an reason/excuses for doing something awful.Personally sympathy is one of my least পছন্দ things in a character. Since it's usually annoying to push a character farther into marry-suedom অথবা just a sick way to try to let characters get away with stuff.

4)When I watch Polar Express I always think of it as an advertisement for a amusement park since there's at least 4 times when the movie takes a break and আপনি go in first person view seeing the slides and down hills while in a fast vehicle.

5) ফ্রোজেন is overrated but, I don't think it's as overrated as most people are making it out to be.

1.I personally think that Anna is আরো beautiful than Elsa দ্বারা far

2.For some reason when I was a kid, I just had this feeling that there was something about আনাস্তেসিয়াa Tremaine, so it made me happy when she became good in the sequels

3.I প্রণয় আনাস্তেসিয়াa (both the movie and the character) but I think her and Dimitri are an awful couple

4.How To Train Your Dragon is a horrible and OVERRATED movie, even আরো overrated than Frozen

5.I প্রণয় আনাস্তেসিয়াa Tremaine (in the sequels) আরো than Cinderella

6.I'm still impatiently waiting for there to be a ডিজনি Princess voiced দ্বারা Sierra Boggess

7.I don't think ডিজনি sequels are as bad as people make them out to be (especially since I've seen A LOT worse that are REAL TORTURE)

8.Female villains are usually MUCH আরো interesting than male villains

9.I'm likely to like অথবা at least have a soft spot for a movie that isn't very good if it has amazing songs and beautiful animation

10.Tiana and The Princess and The Frog are one of the most underrated ডিজনি চলচ্চিত্র and heroines EVER

Those are just a few that I can think of off the শীর্ষ of my head. I'm surprised I'm the first and only one to answer this. I think this is a fun idea!

1. I think The Princess and the Frog is the best thing ডিজনি has done in the last decade (at least). Best soundtrack too, imo, after Hunchback

2. I'm glad ডিজনি never touched The Prince of Egypt, an idea that was constantly pitched to ডিজনি before Katzenberg left. There'd probably be wisecracking camels and whatnot.

3. I have weird hangups about talking animals. I just can't get into them. Except for রশ্মি the firefly.

4. CGI people look awful for the most part; body proportions in CGI are so weird. I like 2D better.

5. I didn't mind The Black Cauldron and I don't get why everyone hates it.

6. I like Nani better than any of the DPs.

7. How To Train Your Dragon has great scenery -- Berk is gorgeous -- but the plot and characterization are soooo stale. Misfit nerd becomes hero and wins hot angry girl. Ugh.

8. Treasure Planet is the bomb.

9. I have no special প্রণয় for the ডিজনি Renaissance films.

10. My পছন্দ character in The Hunchback of Notre Dame is Clopin the gypsy king -- actually, he's one of my পছন্দ animated characters overall. Not to knock the main four, I just thought he was আরো interesting.

1) Besides the songs and the animation, I have no idea why I প্রণয় আনাস্তেসিয়াa (the movie) so much.

2) The songs from the Hunchback of Notre Dame and the Prince of Egypt make me cry, even when they're not sad.

3) I don't want ডিজনি to ever stop making ডিজনি Princesses.

4) I hate The রাজহাঁস Princess.

1) I'll never get the appeal of How to Train Your Dragon. I think people like it only because of the music, the অ্যানিমেশন and Toothless. Because the story and characters are super cliché (like UnholyNoise said).

2) Rise of the Guardians is my পছন্দ Dreamworks film and I think it's their সেকেন্ড best film (the first one being Prince of Egypt). The pacing and the villain are a little underwhelming, but everything else is perfect.

3) Crysta and Kayley are my least পছন্দ animated heroines. I can't stand either of them অথবা their movies.

4) Technically I tend to like the আরো obscure non-Disney animated films over the আরো well known ones. I like আনাস্তেসিয়াa and রাজহাঁস Princess fine, but I'm a complete sucker for the Last Unicorn, A Monster in Paris and the Secret of Kells.

5) I thought the Book of Life, while pretty, wasn't anything innovative. The characters were big cliches and the story was quite messy. (one মিনিট it was about animal rights, then it was about the দিন of the dead, then it was about the প্রণয় triangle, etc etc) I still like the movie, though, but I think people overrated this movie in the promotion of the film.

6) CGI humans will always look weird to me.

1. Snow White is my পছন্দ DP even though she's the least popular.

2. I like the Mickey মাউস and বন্ধু franchise and the ডিজনি Villains franchise both better than the ডিজনি Princess franchise.

3. I don't like the character আনাস্তেসিয়াa অথবা her movie, and I hate Dimtri.

4. I don't like the movie Tangled, Rapunzel is my least পছন্দ DP, and I hate Flynn Rider.

5. Prince Charming from সিন্ড্রেলা is my most handsome animated hero.

6. King Triton is my sexist animated male.

7. I prefer চলচ্চিত্র that take place in modern time, to fairytales.

8. I usually like the villains, heroes, and sidekicks over the heroines.

9. I usually like parental figure characters আরো than child/teenage characters.

10. I prefer stories that focus non-romantic friendship relationships, over romance stories (mostly because I'm asexual)

1. Gothel is a আরো interesting character than Rapunzel, Flynn, Max, অথবা any of the other 'heroes' (yeah, I don't think many of them act particularly heroic).

2. With the latest heroine in any movie, the trailers always brag about how she's "not a typical girl" and shows her doing cool action-y things and it makes me roll my eyes. Why can't we have some wimpy women for once? I assure you, filmmakers, a lot of us girls are as wimpy.

3. I don't get everyone's huge প্রণয় affair with the 90s heroines. Not just the princesses, but Anastasia, Esmeralda, etc. People treat that whole decade like a godsend when most of the heroines aren't that different from each other and are always shoved at the audience as a 'strong female character' and the role model আপনি HAVE to like just because she expresses herself loudly. I don't think personality-wise it was quite as diverse as people make it seem.

4. I know SJWs put a LOT of pressure on companies like Disney, Dreamworks, etc. to do this but I wish they'd stop trying so hard to make nonwhite heroines so perfect. Let them have weaknesses and stop trying to force them to be role মডেল সমাহার who are always right and tough and smart. I think this might be a big reason why the nonwhite heroines, which the exception of জুঁই sometimes, are way আরো respected than the white ones (except for Belle, Rapunzel and Meg). So some people will screech- who cares? Worry about good characters, not political correctness. I think Jasmine, Nani, Penny Proud and Nakoma are good examples of realistic heroines not affected দ্বারা Strong Female Character Syndrome. Well, জুঁই is a bit, but she's far from perfectly tough and independent so I'll excuse her.

5. Everyone thinks their পছন্দ heroine is complex. I don't think all are and that's OK. I just wish আরো people were honest about it. I don't think Snow White অথবা Alice are very complex and I couldn't care less because I think they're great characters.

6. I think Sleeping Beauty as a whole is underrated. Some people call it overrated and I don't know why because almost nobody talks about how great it is, অথবা at all. The অ্যানিমেশন and সঙ্গীত are great and I প্রণয় the characters. I think especially that its female narrative is underappreciated. চলচ্চিত্র don't need women using weapons অথবা anything to be pro-woman. SB has a diverse cast of women, with 3 having housewifely, doting personalities no less, for example.
