বড়দিন is a wonderful time of the year, all the presents, decorations, etc. Remember, though, বড়দিন can also be hectic and stressful. Here's just a few tips on how to survive the বড়দিন season.
1. Telling your mother that she has enough ornaments only gives her an excuse to buy more.
2. If আপনি are dragged to a neighbor's house for a বড়দিন party, don't drink the eggnog if আপনি plan to stay sober. Don't be like my uncle. That "spicy, different taste" is called rum.
3. If your grandmother is cooking বড়দিন dinner, and she has a terrible memory, don't count on her to take out the roast beef on time. Bring your own timer.
4. If you're not sure what to give your family for Christmas, get a gift card for their পছন্দ restaurants অথবা stores, and মোড়ানো it up. Don't be like my aunt who gave me and my sister hideous outfits for Christmas.
5. Don't eat Santa's বিস্কুট until your younger siblings are asleep. Otherwise, your younger siblings will never trust আপনি again.
6. When আপনি stop believing in Santa, don't ruin it for your younger siblings.
7. সারমেয় and inflatable decorations don't mix.
8. If আপনি are going to a relative's house for Christmas, do not bring your luggage through the রান্নাঘর while he/she is trying to cook. GO THROUGH ANOTHER ENTRANCE!
9. If আপনি want to bring your সারমেয় to someone else's house on Christmas, and he/she is fine with it, that's absolutely fine. However, as long as খাবার will be laying around, PUT THE সারমেয় IN THEIR CRATES, অথবা PUT THEM OUTSIDE! IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!

I just wanted to say Merry Cristmas to all of আপনি fanpoppers out there.
If আপনি believe in god অথবা আপনি don't, it is always a special দিন for families and বন্ধু to প্রদর্শনী how they really feel about one another, either this being খাবার fights, real fights অথবা praying for the less fortunate, spend it as a way that is special to you.
Living in Australia, i have always had sweaty, hot christmas'. বড়দিন morning spent with my mum and in the afternoon, it is spent with my dad. This is all that i have basically known, i am just grateful that i get to spend one of my most favourite days of the বছর with my whole family.
But remember that বড়দিন is not just about the presents অথবা the food, although it is the best part lol, it is about family, বন্ধু and santa.
So spread the joy and প্রণয় that this season brings, spread it to everyone that আপনি know and maybe even to those that আপনি don't. Have a great বড়দিন :)
