Why do আপনি think they changed Debbies name to Rebecca in the movie???

they didn't they changed her to a new character named rebecca whos a monkey girl (NOT in the বই thus they never kiss)
they changed so much in this movie
he does not bring the মাকড়সা to school
he doesn't play vidio games in his coffin (though they might have changed that in the final cut)
now this part I got from a review and I hope its wrong
steve becomes a vampire and joins that vampriez guy
Hopefully that is just wrong
oh and they upped the age's of the charcters (they are 14 অথবা so in the বই 1-3)

Imb says they changed the শিরোনাম as well! Its now called The Vampire's Assitant! I don't know why they changed it, maybe the director অথবা writers didn't like the name Debbie. I'd প্রণয় to hear what Darren Shan has to say about this.

They did NOT change Debbie's name!! Rebecca is a new character and she seems really cool. She is in the trailer স্নেহ চুম্বন Darren! This movie looks sick!

i know right it's so stupid and every body looks different than i thought. anyway i think they like Rebecca better i do :]

i dont think they renamed her i think they made another character and took debbie away অথবা they just added rebecca
because in the book debbie didnt have a monkey's tail debbie wasnt even in the cirque darren met her outside the cirque.
so i think debbie will maybe be in another movie series (if there is one)

they havent changed her name it is a whole new character she is darren প্রণয় interest and she later reveals to him that she is a monkey girl so she has a tail that she keeps curled up because people kept stepping on it

I'm sorry to say that they DO screw up eveything in the movie. Mainly just the personality of the characters, but that makes it worse. There is NO DEBBIE HEMLOCK. But honestly, I think that Rebecca is far আরো suitable for Darren than hemlock!
