What exactly is the difference between classic rock and oldies rock?

My interpretation is that oldies are from the 50s, edging into the 60s. Elvis, the Platters, Everly Brothers, early Beatles, Buddy Holly, Fats Domino etc.
Classic rock is from the late 60s and 70s, edging into the 80s. Later Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, পরাকাষ্ঠা Floyd, CCR, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc.

Oldies are the birth of rock'n'roll and Classic Rock is the পরবর্তি generation.

Of course, it's very subjective and I've heard all pre-80s সঙ্গীত referred to as 'oldies' before [usually দ্বারা today's youth]. There's really no set definition because the terms 'oldies' and 'classic rock' were coined দ্বারা radio stations to define what they were playing.

আপনি can tell দ্বারা the tone of the recording of the song. If it sounds a bit muffled, then it was done in the 60s.

I think that Classic Rock refers to like the 60's, 70's and 80's (kinda) rock while Oldies is আরো general--like not just rock but older kinds of other সঙ্গীত too.
I don't think they have a set difference though, it's pretty open to interpretation.
