I woke up alone in the hotel room.
I stared at the ceiling.
My mind went blank. I just had a bad dream last night.
I don’t want to think about it first. I’ll get to accelerate the speed of my heartbeat again if I dared to think. I went to the bathroom.
The first thing I did was, I stared at myself in the mirror, above the sink.
I noticed I had a small scar on my forehead.
“I remembered this,” I traced the scar using my fore finger.
