Hope lost, অথবা just another rumour?

As most of আপনি have probably heard, if আপনি keep up with the internet, there's been a lot of 'information' about the actual plot of The Vampire Diaries changing with tension between Nina and Ian. I find it hard to believe that the writers would drastically change the story because of this (not to mention my reluctance to believe what I read on the internet at face value).
However, I want to know what আপনি guys think! What do আপনি think this will mean for Delena? Will it be the end of our hopes, is it another rumour, অথবা do আপনি think it will cool down and allow us অনুরাগী to still see what we want to? Do আপনি think it's really such a big deal?
