I also agree with Dani. The story of Damon is sooooo heartbreaking. It's obvious life forced him to become the "bad guy" but meeting Elena changed him. And he's trying soooo hard now to become the person who would at least deserve her friendship.
I know ( as one of the Stelenas pointed out ) Elena shouldn't প্রণয় him back only because of his প্রণয় for her, but he truly deserves happiness at last.
