Can someone please explain why Damon all ways showed up with a কাক in the first season!! Thank you!

In the books, the ভ্যাম্পায়ার that drink human blood can develope an ability of appearing in the form of animals. The animal that Damon chose to appear as was a large crow. I guess they wanted to add a similar ability to the Damon in the show. But later, they gave up this idea.

i know cause i have watched every প্রদর্শনী and the কাক turns up because the কাক is a sign that damon is near so it appears when he does
