I personally wouldn't say anything unless they were a friend.
If they're a friend, let them know আপনি like her সঙ্গীত and think she's an amazing person and আপনি would appreciate if they wouldn't say hurtful things because they don't know her.
If it's not a person আপনি care about then don't waste your time. There will always be haters out there and আপনি can't control what people say. Just focus on the positive and the people who do think Demi is amazing and talented.
