When she’s not promoting mental health, the “Neon Lights” hitmaker is correcting irresponsible commentary on eating disorders (Lady Gaga and Meghan Trainor have both been schooled). The 22-year-old’s latest social justice endeavor is starting a #NoMakeupMonday hashtag on Instagram. She kicked off the movement by posting a stunning selfie that highlights her flawless skin. Devonne By Demi must really work!

“Let’s start a new Twitter/Instagram trend: #NoMakeupMonday,” she wrote. “Why? Cause we deserve to show the world our beauty and our confidence!!!” It’s not the first time Demi has forgone make-up on social media. The best-selling author posted several natural pics on Insta over the last few days, which is proof that she practices what she preaches.
