When Rapunzel’s hair is cut at the end it turns brown so why didn’t the part of her hair that Gothel cut in the beginning turn brown?

It did leave a brown piece of hair...she showed it to Flynn when she was explaining about her hair...it was in the back so আপনি couldn't see it till she pulled her hair up and showed Flynn.

It did turn brown. Right after she cut it, that piece turned brown. Then later on when she is explaining her hair to Flynn, she combs back her hair and shows him the brown piece
