I was sad For once to see this film leave so early. And I'll tell আপনি why in two words...The Bubbles. It had amazing অ্যানিমেশন সেকেন্ড Best in it's Era...sadly not everyone else like it that much.

9: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
This placement I think this movie earned for coming out over 75 years পূর্বে it still has some AMAZING অ্যানিমেশন better then a lot of other films. But sadly it isn't aging that well. I hope for it's 100th Birthday, ডিজনি restores it to it's true beauty once again.

4: Sleeping Beauty
The কুইন of the অ্যানিমেশন has been taken down from her সিংহাসন *Cues Belt* Dah, Dah, DAHHH. After I watch Sleeping Beauty a couple times I get mixed feels about the animation. At times I see it as the best, at others I see it as flawed. This time sadly I saw it as flawed. To many color changes.

1: The Princess and the Frog
Has this film won anything on fanpop? It earned number one for best animation. has details that go out of this world (Watch বন্ধু on the Otherside to understand). The Lighting, the water, the settings, everything it just perfect in it. Also when the evil shadows run past one of the house, they knock a light over, would the other films do that? I don't think so, that's why I'm happy this film won.

Tygers_Eye Very interesting countdown! I actually agree that I think it's sad The Little Mermaid got taken out first. I may not like Ariel, but I love everything else about the film. In fact, I LOVE the animation. I keep watching it time and time again because I love the way characters move, especially underwater. The way the merpeoples' hair sways underwater, the way the fish fins move, the way Ursula's tentacles curl and wriggle around, the way the eels swim so fluidly around her body, I could go on. It's a 2D movie, and yet the way characters move around makes you really feel like you're underwater. Oh well. I also agree about Aladdin's animation. After watching it again with a critical eye, I realized that in many parts of the film, the animation is really not that good. The singing portions are gorgeous, and some pivotal scenes like when Jasmine and Aladdin first spend time together without knowing who the other was, but in regular scenes it can get downright sloppy. And the CGI is terrible. (Animators REALLY need to learn that new =/= good.) Also agree about Mulan. Some parts are pretty, but overall I think it belongs lower on the list. Actually, if I comment on all of them I'll be here all night, but very interesting list. Great comments.

Jayden-G Well, the drama would not have started if someone just not participate or comment instead of bashing the countdown COUNTLESS times. This was ridiculous; the fact that people could not respect one another's decisions. We have done this countdown before (I have hosted it before) and NO ONE was complaining about it. I am sorry princecatcher93 for that, and the shade you threw at us was completely deserving. Can't stand it when people b**** and moan about the entire thing and at us when things don't go their way. I still stand by TLM being last, but I never said and it does NOT mean that the animation is bad. While I love PatF, I disagree with it winning, and Pocahontas should have been. I still think Aladdin gets a bit too much hate on the animation, but it is understandable. I am mixed on the list overall. If you want to do this countdown again, IGNORE the haters and do you. People's true colors was shown here.

Swanpride Honestly - the result of the countdown, and in fact the whole way it went disappointed me. We did it before, and back then, most of the people participating (with one or two exceptions) seriously discussed the merits of each movie, if the introduction of CAPS and the impressive ballroom scene is enough to make up for the rushed animation Beauty and the Beast has otherwise, about the use of the empty space in Cinderella, if Tangled will age fast or not and if the water animation in The Little Mermaid makes up for the lack of detail in the land scene...in short, the objective merits and faults of every movie, and while the final judgement was slightly subjective, it is not comparable with the "but this movie is beautiful! And this one is dull!" this time around. All DP movies have outstanding animation. All look beautiful. None of them looks dull. And I got the distinct impression that this was more about pushing the favourite movie to the top (which currently seems to be everything modern...it used to be everything renaissance. I guess the demographic at the club has changed?). This is okay when we deal with an entirely subjective countdown, like "which one do I like best" - people like what they like. But this one shouldn't have been subjective, and it is very disappointing that it was nevertheless treated this way from the majority of the participants. Sorry, princecatcher93. It is great that you went through the work and did you best to keep this half-way civil.

Tygers_Eye To be honest, I was really surprised by the way a lot of people voted and commented this time around. I'll admit I was sick with the flu until the very last vote, which is why I only commented near the end. Seeing the results and reading some of the comments, though? ... Yeesh. Usually everyone is so good, but like Swanpride said, there was a lot of... incivility and subjectivity here. I was full on surprised by how rude so many people were being, as that's usually not like everyone. (At least not during the time I've been here.) The comments and votes themselves were also less critically examined and thought out. I personally love examining animation with a critical eye, and will talk down a film I love if I feel the animation could be better (like PatF or Sleeping Beauty having backgrounds too cluttered in my opinion) but most votes and comments here just seemed to be "I like it, I think it's pretty," or "I don't like it, I think it's dull." Well, why? Colors, contrasts, tints, shadows, lighting, shapes, movements, fluidity, consistency of quality throughout the film, detail, designs, overall style? I don't know. It's not my place to say since I didn't really participate till the very end (darn you Monster Flu!) but I'm kind of disappointed with how voters and commenters handled this countdown. I almost want to do a recount with my own countdown.

Jayden-G Do it if you want to. I know I had a part in the failure of fun in this countdown, but it was a colossal of many things. Some of the comments were definitely shallow, and there was a lot of "I am right, and you are wrong" going on, which led to conflict. I don't even know when things changed amongst this club. I hope this does not discourage anyone.

Swanpride @Tygers_Eye You know, that is a good point...I never really noticed it before, but the backgrounds of PatF are kind of cluttered. This might be intentional though, at least for the New Orleans scenes.

Hi everyone, I just watched Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera just now. While watching, I noticed some similarities with Beauty and the Beast! Here are my observations.

The Story-line

As আপনি may know, both stories are set in France, it also has a sad theme in it as it deals with a deformed person name Erik who wishes to be love. Ironically, the লেখক of The Phantom of the Opera is দ্বারা Gaston Leroux, who happens to be the namesake villain of Disney's retelling of Beauty and the Beast. I haven't done a ranking in a while, so here ya go. This প্রবন্ধ is dedicated to the amazing animators of ডিজনি who gave us wonderful character designs and, sadly, unrealistic hair expectations! (*cries because my hair will never be as cool as DP hair*)

That being said, although every princess has beautiful hair, some manes are better than others. This is my opinion of their hairstyles, ranked worst to best.

I know she's always typed as an Intuitive, especially an ENFP, and it's understandable why; I had once typed her as an ENFJ myself. She does, after all, just "know" the lights are "meant for me!" But is that really indicative of someone with strong intuitive preference? I think it's because this tendency for people to type nerdy/quirky/silly ESFJs as ENFPs, not only Rapunzel but characters like Steven Universe. It gets frustrating because that just implies only intuitives are inherently imaginative.

Why I consider Triton an Abusive Parent, At Least Initially

I really think he loses it, here... Raging at a person is not explaining to a person your personal view.

Triton is one of those dads in ডিজনি that absolutely makes me squirm. I don’t প্রণয় him, and I don’t hate him. But I do find him extremely unnerving, and on the same plane of Mother Gothel upsetting. He clearly alternates between being “nice” only sometimes, and then being really “explosively nasty” at other periods. King Triton’s rule is a patriarchy. I think his abusive tendencies, though, stem from insecurities he has within himself. Triton is afraid of the unknown. He's also afraid of not appearing “manly” enough. I got inspired দ্বারা laylastepford's link about which American Cities the ডিজনি Princesses would live in and as I'm from Sweden I decided to write an প্রবন্ধ about which Swedish Towns (since most falls into that category, only a few falls into the "city" category) each ডিজনি Princesses would live in, it's hard to identify each town's personality so I based it on mostly other aspects. I haven't been to all these towns so I'm just basing on what I know about each town

Hello there! I'm ApplesauceDoctr here today with my third DP Song Analysis article. I've forgotten how much I enjoy লেখা these, and since I re-watched ব্রেভ a few days ago, I thought I'd analyze one of its most notable songs -- "Into the Open Air".

Before we begin, thought I'd mention this -- the chorus occurs twice in the real song (the one আপনি can purchase from the soundtrack), but only occurs once in the actual movie. The lyrics for the two are quite different, but because we only hear one version in the movie, I'll only discuss that one we hear. :D

ডিজনি Princess Merchandise- A never ending hatred

Ah yes. Merchandise. Money, in other words. I adore the ডিজনি princesses. They are all unique, and have good qualities. Some are even a little complex and the majority are at least decent role models. That's not how ডিজনি markets them. Well, unless their name is Anna অথবা Elsa. For the first 11 princess, they are downgraded into sparkle obsessed girls that look nothing like they did in their original film. Great princesses are forgotten in merchandise as well. The whole system is downright awful. For the ফ্রোজেন sisters, ডিজনি markets them as "I don't need a man". They tried that with Merida...

9. Pocahontas
As some may know, I think Pocahontas is a really beautiful human being, in and out. But what I don't find beautiful about her is her ways of expression. When she speaks, it sounds like she's faking every type of emotion she's trying to express and the same goes to when she smiles.

Mulan's smile feels held back so that's why she is in this placement. But I do think it's warm and natural, maybe not as ''impressive''...
