This is just going to be a breakdown of Hans' character, reasons why I প্রণয় him, and reasons to believe he liked Anna. Part 1 is going to be the reasons Hans actually liked Anna!
In the Beginning *suspenseful music*
I don't think Hans is that bad of a guy.
From the start, Hans is the polite prince we expect.
Before Anna announces she is princess of Arendelle, he gives her a look. A look that every girl wants to receive from a guy (well, for the most part)
Then, Anna is been the quirky, cutesy self she is after she tells him she is princess. Anna gets all clutzy and twirls, and then Hans eyes. Look at them eyes. ↓
She waves goodbye, and Hans gives her another look.
Then he falls in the water, at the fault of Anna waving, causing his horse to wave. AND BAM! We gots ourselves another cute look.
If I were Hans, and I was 13th in line for the kingdom, heck if I would smile at the princess whose kingdom I wanted to take over. I think Hans really liked Anna when they met, and when Anna ব্যক্ত she was Princess Anna, it was just made his like for Anna grow.
Open the Door, Anna is in Love
Hans is a smooth mofo, lemme tell আপনি that.
I personally don't see that much of a connection between Hans and Anna in "Love is an Open Door." I adore the song, but it doesn't leave any solid evidence that Hans was truly in প্রণয় with Anna. It just kinda pointed out, Anna is clutzy and overbearing at times, and Hans can tolerate her. ↓
Exhibit A:"ER, I RATHER LIKE MOI FACE."
Exhibit B: "DONT TOUCH ME BISH"
Then we come to the actual song. :D Eee. Hans is infamous to me for his looks toward Anna, and the one below isn't any different. He looks like he's thinking, "Wow, she likes me. BONUS."
He is another look he gives Anna, WHILE SHE IS NOT LOOKING.
The rest of the song, is not anything special toward their relationship. I think that if he really, really wanted to overthrow Arendelle, he would have thrown Anna off of the many balconies he had of access during the song. Buuuut, he didn't; he asked for her hand in marriage! I think Hans really liked Anna, maybe not as much as she did to him, but I believe he wouldn't mind at all ruling Arendelle with her.
Ballroom
This scene is really intense, and Hans was a big part of it, so..
আরো cute looks that make me believe Hans was falling in প্রণয় with Anna.
Then we have the part where Elsa reveals her true self to Hans. Hans looks legit worried about Anna and her safety.
Buh-Bye, Princess
As we see in the picture below, Hans is obviously getting angry about the things the Duke of Weselton's ব্যক্ত about Anna's family.
Hans seems legit worried about Anna going to find Elsa. This was before Anna left him in charge.
Just a reminder, if আপনি haven't seen Frozen, turn your heads and click off this article. This last piece of information will practically ruin the movie.. D:
Most Infamous Scene in Frozen
This scene is so frustrating for me. HANS NEVER INTENDED TO KILL ANNA. EVERRR. It was all this dude's fault. I nicknamed him, Mr. El Stupido . (The one short, chubby guy with curly black hair.) ↓
This guy was like, "Prince Hans, if Anna never returns you're all Arendelle has left."
QUIT PUTTING BAD IDEAS INTO THIS GUYS HEAD, MR. EL STUPIDO. ERGHH. Then Hans, is all like, "oh jaaa, I could rule a kingdom without Anna.."
*MEGA FACEPALM TOWARD MR. EL STUPIDO.*
Then Anna comes back, and she is dying. And there is a glimmer of hope!
Anna's all like, "Elsa froze my heart."
Hans' is all like, "You ব্যক্ত she would never hurt you." (The scene below)
He looks sad, worried, and angry that Elsa did this to Anna.
Then Hans is starting to get ideas. Ideas that have been implanted into his brain দ্বারা Mr. El Stupido.
Hans': "Well, if she's gonna die anyway.."
NO. STAHP. AT LEAST TRY BRO. ERGH.
I still believe with all my heart, Hans liked Anna. Was it true love, a message prominent in "Love is an Open Door"? No, but I think Hans was just going to marry Anna, and get rid of Elsa. He had no intentions of hurting Anna in the first place. MR. EL STUPIDO, আপনি ARE SHAMED AND SHUNNED. -.-
