I only ask because I remember when Tangled first came out- even before, I think- everyone was gushing over how "feminist" she's supposed to be. I guess because she's proactive (no idea what that has to do with having equal rights) and manipulates Flynn to get what she wants (which is a sexist reason to call her feminist hero! That's like calling a man a hero for manipulating a woman to get what he wants to). I remember when I was new to this place and before I had seen Tangled I called Punz a feminist and some of her fans disagreed. She does have a great deal of feminists as fans, though. I have never heard her get called anti feminist or an embarrassment to women, like the Classic three princesses. Which is so STUPID because they purposely made her as girly as they are.

well, if you 5 don't care enough to explain why, I guess she isn't that feminist (or unfeminist) to you ;p

To be honest I have never really thought about it. I guess she's more feminist character but she also has some qualities that are not.

Yes, because she saved Flynn numerous times and she also allows herself to be feminine and ''tomboyish''. At the beginning, all she wanted was to go see the lanterns and she never gave up on that dream.

I don't try to think of the princesses as Feminist or Unfeminist, it takes a lot of fun out of all of them and makes them all boring. Unless if everyone is gushing on and on about how they are or aren't I don't think about it.
