If I wanted adventure like Ariel did then yes. But not only for Eric. Many people forget that she wanted to be human before she met Eric.
But knowing that your family is probably looking for you and knowing that Ursula is not well-know. I probably wouldn't do it.

I wouldn't change it for anything. Especially if I had Ariel's voice.

Well, if we followed the storyline, I would get my voice back in the end. But if not, then I wouldn't: I'm a chatterbox and I hate being opressed in any way. I don't think I would be able to communicate and express my opinion properly without my voice.

Heh. In Ariel's opinion, sacrificing her voice was worth a try. Everything else she had tried before ( to become human) left her exactly where she was.

Also, while other people LOVED Ariel because of her voice-- like her dad who was SO BIG on showing her off to his subjects-- Ariel might have just wanted her skills used differently.

I have one parent who always takes my skills, tells me which ones to ditch-- and has trained me to use the ones she likes best to her advantage. She always claims she's making these changes in me because they are IN MY BEST INTEREST. Sadly, that situation is like someone else living their lives vicariously through yours. It isn't fun for the person being used.

If I was in Ariel's situation, I might have given it a try.

Most people WANT to be a mermaid. Seeing as I hate the sea, being full of sharks and things, I would probably want to be human too, but ehhh selling my voice might me a bit much especially since I have an Ariel voice, which is one of the best voice ever, in my opinion. So yah NO, I'm keeping my mermaid tail along with my mermaid voice.

No way, I hate the human world! I love the sea! You couldn't get me to sell my voice for something as crumby as that.

I'd want to be a human (although human life is a mess, I wouldn't like to be a mermaid) but if I was a Ariel, I would not sell my voice just to get a better life. If I'm mute how can my life be better?

I would find another way to stay with Eric, am thinking looking for a use dress around the beach or ask for Scuttle's help so he would fly around and get me a dress, then I would sit on the beach with the dress and sing to attract Eric to me ones we see each other I tell him about me and then together try to find a better way for me to turn human maybe talking with my father the two of us.
