Yes, I believe she is, just not as much as she is usually given credit for. We see that she is interested in reading, learning new things, she is constantly curious. Yet at the same time we only see her reading fairytales, which is great but I'm not sure whether it's enough in order to call her intellectually curious. I personally think Rapunzel is more intellectually curious.

yes, I guess, she likes to read, even if its the same book over and over again..she has this enthusiasm to be constantly intellectually active. On another side this enthusiasm is only directed in things she finds entertaining like reading fairy tales, its not that she is open to all kind of intellectual challenges, like, i dont know, maybe inventing things like her father, or other activities she could also learn from the villagers. Personally i agree what rosamina says about Rapunzel.

I think so, considering how she turned down going to the library to go to the West Wing to find out more about what was going on in the castle. That takes a level of intellectual curiosity.

She's curious, just not intellectually curious. She does want to know about what's out there, but that doesn't make her intellectually curious at all. She doesn't seem interested that much in abstract matters, and she doesn't show any signs of thinking about anything remotely intellectual. Outside of this site, she gets a lot of credit for being an intellectual, and while I don't think any of the princesses are, others are far more intellectually curious than Belle, they just don't get as much credit for it because they don't have their noses stuck in a book. I'd say, of all the princesses, Aurora's the most intellectually curious. Ariel seemed to be fairly intellectually curious as well- she wasn't only interested in becoming human, she wanted to gather as much information on humans as possible.

She wants to find solutions, experience everything the world has to offer, and she craves learning. I think she is curious, and intellectual, but maybe not both together. However, I do believe she's the smartest DP of all time. Go Bookworms!
