I like both soundtracks but I think this one is more memorable.

While "Almost There" and "Down in New Orleans" are wonderful songs, there's still "When We're Human", "Dig a Little Deeper", and "Ma Belle Evangeline" which drags down the song quality and memorability a lot. As poppy as Tangled's songs are, they're all memorable and all contribute to the characters and plot.

Tangled has such a generic, uninspired soundtrack. too much pop.

The only memorable songs on TPATF are "Almost There" and "Friends On The other Side." The rest are forgettable.

By far! I really like WWMLB Reprise and the Healing Song. The Kingdom Dance is nice too. The others are pretty good. And I love Rapunzel's voice. PATF has a couple songs I can deal with and the rest I dislike.

The only exceptions are When Will My Life Begin and Mother Knows Best (along with the Reprise)

The PATF soundtrack is so criminally underrated.

The lyrics are kind of lame, yeah, but the composition and influences (gospel, zydeco) are really interesting. They give you a really good sense of location, which is one of the things I love most about PATF.

Also, the Tangled soundtrack is "current" now, but it's going to sound realllly dated in a decade or two.
