Tangled's ending is kind of forced and gimmicky. I mean they had a good set up with Rapunzel and her parents being reunited without even the use of words. That was absolutely brilliant! Plus they had all the visuals for the ending done very well but it was ruined with Flynn just talking and explaining what's going on instead of just letting the movie show us like a lot of past Disney films did. Plus the final scene with the drunk in the diaper, MAN WAS THAT HORRIBLE! I think The Princess and The Frog has a great ending!

After the powerhouse that is Tangled, I find the ending to be a let down. And I agree with KL, i really would have liked if they just ended with Rapunzel and Eugene hugging her parents and maybe Flynn just saying "And they lived happily ever after." There could have even been a montage in the credits of the rest of the thugs fulfilling their dreams, but it just wasn't something that was needed in the movie itself.

TPATF ending is beautiful however and one of my favorite things about the film. I find the movie has a really strong beginning and end, it's just the middle where things get muddled.

The ending for both movies is rather ho-hum, actually. I don't like the drunk in the diaper, but Tiana getting her restaurant was a snooze-fest of epic proportions. After watching her his and spit at Naveen for most of the movie, when she did get her restaurant, I was like--- well,finally--- thanks for getting that over with.

I feel so happy for Tiana.
