I don't think she's really dependent. The only princess who was dependent is Aurora imo. Yeah, way too naive but it's tolerateable enough as she's only 14.

For the way she acts with the dwarves even though she's their guest, not the other way around.

I don't mind bossiness.

I don't see any of the DPs as dependent except maybe Rapunzel with needing a guide and even that's understandable. All of them had valid reasons for needing help, if they need it at all.

I know she has mom qualities, but I used to really dislike it when my mom would make me wash my hands and force-kiss me on the cheek. I'm more of the Fergus mentality "I'm fine, woman, leave me be!" so while this in no way makes me dislike Snow White, I just wouldn't want to have someone being a mother tend to me all the time.

It doesn't bother me in the movie, but I can imagine that her pushiness might be a little too much at times... I don't know, it's hard to think of her really bothering anyone.

i have had personal experience with people who are this pushy. She comes into dwarfs' house uninvited (though she does help clean it and service them to earn her stay) but still could have waited to ask for their permission, then scolds them on their lifestyle. It can become irritating after sometime.
