I'm sorry, but I find her a spoiled brat...Personality doesn't mean to fall in love with the first handsome guy you see and to abandon your family for him. I think Belle and Pocahontas have the best personality. They are both intelligent and understanding. She was dreaming of being a part of a human world for years, long before meeting Eric, and she struggled as much as she could trying to put up with her father's prejudices about humans and his irrational idea of punishing Ariel for being not as prejudiced and narrow minded as him and refusing to judge others without even getting to know them. And maybe Triton had his reasons to tell his daughters to stay away from humans, Ariel had her reasons to not want to stay away and not judge the entire world without exploring it and knowing it better. She also had every right to fall in love with Eric without being emotionally abused for that or having all her collection she worked on for years to be ruined. When she decided to take a risk and become a human she had no support from her family whatsoever and she had to take action in her own hands and rightfully so because had she not done it Triton would have stayed the same prejudiced individual and Ariel's sisters would have kept being raised surrounded by unfair accusations aimed at humans. posted বছরখানেক আগে.
