Other movies address a lot of important issues, but Pocahontas is the kind of movie that doens't give concrete answers when coming up with sets of questions that the humanity still haven't found an answer to. It doesn't preach about anything, it shows consequences of certain human flaws and actions such as prejudices or posessive attitude or aggression. It also points at multiple options and ways you can go, but it leaves the choice after you. In fact, the entire theme of the movie is choosing your own path according to your experience and knowledge.
