I'm going to be doing a pick series of songs that were originally in the movies versus songs added for the Broadway musicals. I'll be covering both Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid, but I did TLM first because I have more pictures for the characters.

I have never seen the broadway musical. Wish I could. Thanks for posting those videos. I prefer the song She's In Love over Daughters of Triton. Awww, Flounder was so cute in the musical! And I really liked that video someone did, with the song and the scenes of TLM3 meshed together.

One of Ariel's sisters was Black in the broadway musical? Well, okay. That's cool.

@TigerRanma: They also sometimes had a black Flounder and Triton. It's Broadway, and all white people would be considered discrimination.

Plus they're actually pretty in the broadway show but in the movie they're ugly plus she's in love is a much better song

I picked this because She's In Love was such a phoned in song. The lyrics made no sense, and the melody was bland and unoriginal. It would have been better off as a dialogue. I find it amusing that one of the lines in the song is: "She barely sticks a toe in down at the tidal pool." I thought the whole point of the story was that Ariel did not have feet, and as such, no toes. :)
