A shame, really... :/ Should have won for "Best Song", just like "The Little Mermaid", "Aladdin", "Beauty and the Beast" & "Pocahontas".

I think the song performed by Florence Welch should have won, that was gorgeous. But if not that, then "I See The Light", definitely.

The Toy Story 3 song was terrible.

Personally, I thought all the songs were pretty great, I was a little conflicted with who I wanted to win, but I'm content with Randy Newman winning. I just didn't want the Country Strong song to win, I didn't like that song much...

I'm sad Tangled lost, but I don't hate the Toy Story song. As long as Disney won, I'm good, lol.

Yeah I just watched it. I saw Mandy Moore & Zachuary Levi perform and thought they were amazing! I was hoping 'I See The Light' would win,because it's amazing and beautiful song.I'm sure disappointed that it didn't win.I thought song from Tangled was way better then that one from Toy Story 3! That's not fair that Toy Story gets all glory and Tangled gets left with nothing! I wish Tangled would've won something ^no matter what category it was! Will ^no matter I still love the movie!

Hated the Toy Story song. I've always hated You've Got A Friend With Me and anything from Toy Story. I don't dig Randy Newman's style of music at all. And I wasn't expecting I See the Light to win either, even though I liked it. I cheered when Alan Menken showed up.

I LOVE RANDY NEWMAN! And if Toy story didn't win I wanted If I rise to win. I see the light was good but not as good.

Yeah, I thought I See the Light or the one performed by Florence Welch should have one. I dislike the other two songs.

I'm not annoyed though, it's just how it is. I don't really mind that Tangled didn't win any Oscars, an Oscar doesn't determine whether a film is good or not, (I mean Mulan, for example, didn't win anything either and IMO it's so much better than Tangled) - but that TS3 song did not deserve to win in my opinion.

Oh and honestly I love Toy Story 3. I think it deserves all the wins it's picked up so far in all of the awards shows, but this.. just no. I personally find Randy Newman's work bland - it's not bad, I just think his work is boring.

The reason We Belong Together won is because it's in TS3. No other reason IMO.

I thought that song and the song from TS3 stood a chance. Maybe if Tangled had another song up for a nomination it could've won. I think they gave it to Randy because that was the most likely last Toy Story and each song from the other Toy Stories lost (or the academy took pity coz Randy had 1 oscar and Alan had 8)

not saying that I don't like TS3 but it shouldn't have won the best song. I agree with Mingoose09 the song won just because it was in the movie.
if another movie won that award I think I would have felt better.

I love Toy Story 3, but the song was plain. Nothing special about it. 'I see the light' was worth of winning.

Ok seriously I am pissed off now. I see the light was such a beautiful song WHY THE HELL DID IT NOT WIN. Mother Knows Best should have been in their too. I hate the Oscars. Oh let me guess they think Tangled sucks and Toy Story 3 is better. I do like Toy Story 3 too but I am so mad that this didn‘t win.

The music in Tangled was far from being Oscar worthy. I liked the music, yeah. But it wasn't great at all.

I think "I See The Light" or "Coming Home" (from Country Strong) deserved to win more than "We Belong Together" (Toy Story 3). That song by Florence Welch (from "127 Hours") was really bad, in my opinion.

I was rooting for I See the Light. But it's not the end of the world imo, I'm not taking it personal. I have both songs on my ipod, and Randy Newman does deserve an Oscar two. Menken only has like what, 8?
