I haven't seen Princess and the Frog. I think Maurice is a great dad because he went out in to the forest, even though he knew of the dangers, because he wanted to save Belle.

I do like James, but we see more of Maurice- who is my favorite Disney father.

I mean, he got locked up and begged Belle not to take his place. He barged into a bar raving about Belle's imprisonment, only to be ridiculed and thrown out. He walked back into the woods in the middle of winter just to try to save her.. I love this guy.
