As if people are voting Jasmine...the girl hates being a princess, I'm pretty sure the one thing she likes about it is the ability to help people, like Aladdin or that starving kid or all the poor people she brings to her father's attention in the series that are starving.

I don't see any of them saying that! Honestly Jasmine has a lot of pasion for her people if you watch the tv show and the sequels. The fact that she wanted to help the little boy shows that. She was just shelterd and trapped so she didn't know anything about the real world. But when i saw any of the other girls saying that it didn't work but honestly Jasmine hates being a princess amd trapped she would never say that

Although personally, I can't picture any of them saying that. They're all pretty headstrong, compassionate figures. (I can picture Jasmine saying that sarcastically, though, probably in one particularly vitriolic argument with her father or something. Or venting to Rajah)

And to be fair to the SLEEPING BEAUTY sequel, it probably *was* trying to give Aurora more flaws and dimension and teach lessons and such, but still...

I don't get why Jasmine got so many votes when it was clear in the movie, sequels and series that she not only is very down to earth in terms of not being proud or even enjoying the privileges she has as a princess (not to mention trying to escape those privileges whenever she can), but she also dressed up as a commoner on more than one occasion (first movie and the series) and in the series she encouraged her father to take care of poor people so she already directly proved she wouldn't say that.

Voting Aurora because she didn't have much of an experience with helping people in general, at least we didn't see it in the movie.
