She does. But Ariel wouldn't go as overboard as she would. She kissed him while she was arguing with him,but they do have some similarities, like howin the anime series they made the same play as the little mermaid and also she rescued Kaito. She's even a mermaid!!!

Same personality, similar appearance, same voice actress! :D Except Ariel's a fighter and Thumbelina gives up easy.

I think either Thumbelina or Bloom could work, although both are pretty pessimistic compared to Ariel. I only scene the first few episodes of Mermaid Melody, so can't really say. But, definitely not Saleen.

By the way I wouldn't recommend the second season because the last episode is not shown with english subtitles or dub.

I haven't watched Thumbelina in a quite awhile, however, I remember when I did I couldsee a clear resemblence to Ariel.
