Diazdiaz95 picked Rapunzel:
I don't think that she's the dumbest princess on here but I imagine that she is the least educated. She was stuck in the tower her whole childhood so she never got to go to receive a formal education. She learned things from books and Mother Gothel, who purposefully made the world seem really scary so Rapunzel would never leave. You can tell that she wasn't very educated because she didn't even know what the stolen tiara was at first.

She gets used to things easily and she's a fast learner, but she was trapped in a tower her whole life and the books that she had probably didn't teach her much.

Definitely. I really doubt that Mother Gothel would teach her anything besides her hobbies. She was really isolated her entire life. She's so lonely to the point where she trusts her chameleon, respectively. I don't think Rapunzel was educated, even in the slightest.

Rapunzel was educated. She read the same books many times and studied a lot. It can be shown that she knows a lot about astrology and other stuff. The only thing she doesn't know much is about people. But once she meets them she knows how they are. I think Rapunzel is quite smart actually.
I think it's Elsa's turn now because she isn't shown much in the movie so we don't know how much she is educated. And it's 100% sure she will go because she has the most votes so I'm not gonna keep fighting. I know she is smarter than people think she is but I can't prove anything because she doesn't have much screentime.
BTW I noticed all these are in my top 6.

^ She educated herself. She had books and she knew astrology and astronomy. She know how to paint, how to play the guitar, how to play chess, ballet, candle making... If that isn't education I don't know what is.

Digoenes picked Rapunzel:
I'm only going by formal education here. Rapunzel may be extremely gifted and self-taught but Elsa is being groomed to be a ruling queen which means that she has to be aware of the political, social and economic ties of her kingdom and her allies. Unfortunately, none of this is shown and is largely implied. But the fact that she's in line to be a ruler means that she had to receive the best education possible. Rapunzel on the other hand received no formal education and her knowledge of astronomy, candle making, etc. is only shown in a song montage and has no real impact on the plot.

^I don't think IMPLYING that Elsa had an education is enough. Nothing in the movie suggests she was really "fit" to be queen, except in title and lineage. We NEVER SEE Arenedelle's council AT ALL. And if they were meant to tutor her--- then they SHOULD HAVE had at least a scene like in Brave--- with Elinor teaching Merida--- to make it convincing. Plus, Elsa makes one of the dumbest mistakes ever, because she does not use her head, and instead freezes the kingdom.

Rapunzel had about as much formal education as Belle did, if that makes any sense. And I am simply pointing out that by your logic--- you're eliminating Belle, too.

^ She doesn't freeze the kingdom. It wasn't her intention. And yes she has a brain and thinks. You don't know what having anxiety and your biggest secret being revealed is like, right?
Yes, she does make some mistakes but she doesn't "freeze" the kingdom. That's just absurd. Makes me wonder if you watched the movie.

^once again, I agree. It wasn't Elsa's fault that she froze the kingdom. And with THAT logic you could say that Ariel is a complete dimwit, which is something you would never admit. Seriously, you got to stop. If your going to go around saying that you want all the hate for some of the princesses to stop then stop hating on one in particular. How can we take you seriously if you say you want no more hate for all the girls but in every poll you always bad mouth Elsa. Just how you feel the hate for Ariel is getting old, so is the hate for Elsa. I hate to sound mean about it because that's not my intention as I also want some of the hate to stop but I just don't understand. Oh, well. :)

I watched the same movie. Elsa DID FREEZE the kingdom, whether she was aware of it or not. That's a fact. The movie is called FROZEN for a reason.

@ Manu and Sk8er: You guys won't stop hating on Ariel, so I'm allowed to hate Elsa if I want to do so. This hypocrisy you accuse me of goes both ways.

^ How do you consider freezing the kingdom without being aware of it as stupid? I'm confused. The fact that she was effected by her fear doesn't make her dumb.

If you recall, I did create a poll asking about HOW Ariel should have been punished for all her "misdeeds." Most of the responses were of the variety that no one would have minded Ariel being married off, dying as sea foam, or being ripped in half. It's funny that a lot of people could--- and did--- feel that Ariel DESERVED NO HAPPY ENDING. So be it. I'm fine letting everyone hate Ariel, now.

Never mind that everyone wants me to overlook Elsa's inability to develop a relationship with her sister. Okay. Sisters make mistakes and divulge one another's personal baggage. Does that necessitate running away? Does that necessitate getting so angry at your sis for what she is saying to you, that you hit her? I don't think so. But then, I have PROBLEMS seeing Elsa as a sane, selfless person. A person who has self-control does not stoop to that level.

iwasneverhere picked Elsa:
Elsa has a brain that is half-on, and half off. We know she wants to prevent herself from hurting her sister again, at all costs. That part of the exposition was most clear. The problem is that Elsa feels that by distancing herself from her sister--- no contact at all--- will actually preserve their relationship. Pretty disturbing really, if you think about it.

Elsa then decided that she is far enough away from Arendelle, so she thought no harm would come from releasing her powers. The powers that she's scared of for all of her young and adult life--- she's suddenly not afraid to use them. Not a bad idea, it would seem, if she were in full control of her powers. But the part of her brain where she was still aware of how quickly her powers could get out of hand is switched off. Elsa FORGETS how quickly her powers get out of hand. She forgets that she froze the whole room she lived in, while separated from her sister. She forgets that she was scared of how far-reaching her powers might be. When Anna comes in later and tells Elsa--- reminds her, rather--- just how far-reaching her powers are --- Elsa gets angry, because she can't explain how she "thought" her powers weren't so far-reaching, this far away from Arendelle. Point is, Elsa WANTED to forget about her past. She wanted freedom. She wanted to pretend that her powers had no far-reaching consequences.
I can't blame her for wanting to live that fantasy. But the reality was that she should have REMEMBERED all of the prior instances where she loosed her powers. Distance was not protection. It turned out to make the situation worse, not better.

You think I hate Elsa? Not quite as much as the people in the next sentence.

Oh, God, how I hate Elsa's parents and the trolls. They told Elsa such utter garbage that it made me furious.

manu962 picked Elsa:
^ She never got angry at Anna. Except for when she was pushing her to return to a normal life in the beginning. And that isn't even called being angry. When you think that she was 8 when her whole life was ruined, she almost killed her sister, she had to be locked, she discovered that her powers were growing, she was afraid she could hurt people that made her develop anxiety and depression and self insecurity while being only 21 you get to understand her actions better.
Elsa thinks she should keep distance with her sister because that's what her parents said to her and that's what she thought was right.

iwasneverhere picked Elsa:
This whole movie is predicated on "misinformation." The trolls misinform Elsa's parents, planting them with the spirit of fear. Elsa's parents ( her father mostly) teach Elsa to FEAR EVERYTHING, and FEAR HURTING EVERYONE.

If you pulled out the misunderstanding between the trolls and Elsa's parents, Elsa would never have had to live a traumatized existence, and become such a conflicted creature so at odds with herself that she makes foolish decisions. It is not Elsa that I blame for everything. Elsa's parents and the trolls are equally at fault.

^ I actually answered that question on what I feel should have happened to Ariel, and I never said that she shouldn't have had a happy ending, I made it full and clear that I wanted her to have a happy ending, just wished that maybe she was portrayed as becoming a human before meeting Eric and maybe apologized in the end. I have tried to make it as clear as possible that I am far from hating Ariel. I did before I came on this sight, but I was open minded, just like I hope you will be. I dislike the movie Frozen for not stating who horrible Elsa and Anna's parents are, which is why I really don't like when people blame Elsa for her fear and Anna for being lonely. I don't want to start a fight, I just don't think Elsa's stupid. She had the best intentions in mind in my perspective.
