Many children I know find her boring

Children won't understand her story clearly, and she acts more mature than the other princesses in her movie. They might even find her boring. Pocahontas is more appealing to an older audience. That would explain as to why there isn't any merchandise of her anywhere.

none of the kids I know like Belle. It's really odd.

i can see how she would appear mean and judgmental for most kids. i know i wasn't too crazy about jasmine as a kid

Unfortunately, she is. I think partly because she doesn't a big poofy dress. but she was my favorite when I was little, so who knows?

I guess I'll say Poca for the reasons above, but I really don't know. Most little kids I know like every princess- my little cousin doesn't have a favorite.

Another weird thing- my twin cousins (they're a boy and a girl), both love the Pocahontas movie, and they saw it when they were three or four. They actually found it quite interesting. But most kids overall don't like the movie, so they like the princess less. Poca was lower on my princess list as a kid because I didn't like that someone died in her movie (that was my naive little kid logic xP).

As much as I love her and as much as I adored her as a child, I don't think many other people did. She was very... well, I don't know. I think more people enjoy her movie than her as a character.

and Pocahontas!

I asked few of my cousins and brother, they mostly like Ariel, Mulan, girls like Snow White and Cinderella, but boys don't, and they don't like Tiana and Pocahontas

When the movie came out when I was 6 years old, I thought Pocahontas was really cool. I wanted to be just as cool as she was, with the posing and the flowing hair. And I remember taking an interest in learning her language.

But I'll bet most children don't like her.

I dunno, I mostly judge by girls. They love Poca better than Mulan.
