Why does Quasimotto looks like that?

I dont get it...if both of his biological parents are Gypsy, why does Quasimotto have red hair, light skin, and redish hair? Shouldnt his hair be blackish-brown, have tanned skin, and have dark brown eyes অথবা what not? I really dont get it, he looks nothing like the Gypsies depicted in the movie. Does anyone know why he doesnt look Gypsy?!

One of the reasons for his white skin was probably because he was never outside. Remember that he lived in a tower his whole life. No sun can do that. Also, his red hair might be from lack of sun, অথবা maybe his parents were gypsies? I like 8xchristellax8's answer about how he might have been adopted দ্বারা gypsies, too.

Quasimodo has reveal genetic mutations, which caused his oddly shaped body. He could have had other genetic mutations like an albino. That would account for the pale skin and the red hair. It would not matter what his parents looked like for that to occur.
