Mowgli and Baloo were going for a walk through the jungle, when Mowgli suddenly jumped on the bear's back, wanting to play. "Hey, let's fight!" exclaimed the boy.

"Fight?" Baloo reached around and tried to pull Mowgli off his back. "But kid, remember last time I tried to teach ya how to fight? Didn't turn out so good."

"It ended great!" Mowgli said, giggling. "After all, I won didn't I?"

Baloo grabbed hold of the boy's arms and swung him to the ground. "And I bet I could win again too!" added Mowgli, as he playfully beat his scrawny fists on Baloo's soft belly.

"Ha! I've knocked yer roof in before and I could do it again!"

"Can we have a rematch, Baloo? Can we, uh?"

Baloo chuckled. "You betcha!"

Then the ভালুক and the man-cub took their positions. They took a few steps away from each other, sneering and keeping their eyes locked. Within a few seconds, the pair was dancing circles around each other, holding their fists high and ready.

"Okay Little Britches, আপনি দোল first. Try an' let me have it!"

Mowgli growled ferociously at his big friend and punched him in the gut.

"Oof! Mm…Was that yer best shot?" Baloo smiled mischievously. "Well, now it's time for আপনি to get yours!" With that, the ভালুক grabbed Mowgli's ankles in one strong hand and held the boy upside-down.

"BALOO!" The man-cub furiously swung his little fists, but knew he had been defeated.

"Come on now, Mowgli. Tell ol' Baloo he beat ya fair and square!"

"I'll never do that!" Mowgli scowled at him. "PUT ME DOWN!"

Baloo sighed sadly, while keeping a secure grip around the struggling boy's ankles. "Sorry kid, but it looks like we're gonna have to settle this the hard way…" Then he lightly traced a gentle finger down Mowgli's stomach.

"Hehehehey! B-Baloo, nooo!" The kid squealed and tried to block out the fingers.

"What's the matter, kid?" Baloo laughed. "Can't take a dose of yer own medicine?"

Mowgli laughed harder as Baloo's fingers gently dug into his tender, young belly. "STAAHAHAHAHAHAP! BALOOOOOHOHOHOHOHOO!"

The ভালুক smirked a bit as Mowgli laughed and flailed helplessly. The kid's face turned red and his black hair was waving around wildly. Baloo stopped tickling the kid so he could regain his breath.

"So, do I win this time?" The ভালুক smiled coyly. Mowgli scoffed.

"Alright then, time to go for those little ribs!" Baloo started applying gentle squeezes to the boy's ribcage, causing him to go hysterical.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHA! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEEHE! NOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOOHO!"

Baloo, being a compassionate creature, decided that he would end the tickle torture right then and there. Whether অথবা not Mowgli gave in. So Baloo quickly stopped his assault and put the man-cub gently on the ground.

"Yer still champion, kid," Baloo told Mowgli as he caught his breath.

"Huh?" Mowgli wondered why Baloo had let him off so easy.

"I tried to make ya admit that I beat ya. But I couldn't. So that means yer still the play-fight champion, Mowgli."

Mowgli grinned as this made him feel better. Then he went to hug his big friend. "See, Baloo? I told আপনি I would win."

When I started this প্রবন্ধ series, I had to make a decision. Officially, nearly all ডিজনি চলচ্চিত্র are based on some sort of উৎস text. In reality, it is often something really obscure and practically forgotten. So I made a decision early on: That I would only discuss the books, which are known enough to have an own Wikipedia article. This distinction served me fairly well, with one exception and this is The শিয়াল and the Hound. When this book was published, it was highly praised, and therefore it does have an article. But nowadays it is so hard to come দ্বারা that আপনি have to pay a three digits...

I should have expected that this one would be one of the first requests. To say it upfront: Between Victor Hugo’s two “big” novels, I tend to gravitate আরো towards Les Misérables, mainly because Notre Dame de Paris is so downright depressive. Oh, both বই delve deep into the social injustices of their time and the darkness of the human soul. But I think that Les Misérables is the আরো sophisticated take of those two, much clearer in the message it is trying to tell with much আরো relatable characters in it.
Notre Dame de Paris is from a literature historic angle the আরো important...
