i think harry should have given dobby mre. he had so much fame and fortune. And the least he could do was mae dobby something or give him food or something like that.

Harry didn't really appreciate how much Dobby had to sacrifice to try and protect him (even if he didn't always have the best methods).

Harry was nicer to Dobby than most characters were, but if he put his mind to it he could have done more for Dobby. Especially in the books, where it's shown that all the house elves suffer a lot.
