6th- Series 6, 5th- Series 1, 4th- Series 3, 3rd- Series 2, 2nd- Series 4.
Series 4 was amazing! Heres why:
1. We got to see the doctor's darker/emotional side a bit more
2. Donna, the best companion ever, returned
3. The friendship between The Doctor and Donna was stronger than any other friendship on the show
4. The stories were alot more different and original, aswell as being darker, scarier, more dramatic and more memorable
5. The storyline of the DoctorDonna was one of the best story arcs of the show
6. Rose came back, aswell as Jack, Sarah Jane and Torchwood
7. It contained some of my favourite episodes of doctor who: Midnight, The Unicorn and the Wasp, Silence in the Library/Forest of the dead, Turn Left.

So there it is- the reasons behind why series 4 is amazing, but not quite at the top though...

Series 2 had alot of my favorite episodes in it...say, Christmas Invasion, School Reunion, The Girl in the Fireplace, just to name a few...
