I wasn't a big Martha fan, but I'm glad that she was there when the Doctor needed someone. She also had some really great moments. I think that the thing I didn't like was when she would show jealousy or annoyance that the Doctor didn't feel the same for her that she felt for him. But she was a good character and I'm glad she was the person they picked/character they created.
