I really don't understand why people have a problem figuring out if he is a boy but just for clarification, yes, Eddward is a boy.

Also, Eddy is the short, loud one, not the one with the hat.

Actually, in the Ed Edd n Eddy Big picture show, Eddy's big brother confirms that Double D is actually a girl দ্বারা saying (and I quote) "Why is your girlfriend wearing a মোজা on her head?".
