im more of a traditionalist myself but ya it's all good :) i sometimes enjoy using whitebord on sites like bebo too. :D as long as you create a picture ^_^

Kind of. I love drawing with greylead pencils, the traditional way, but photoshop is fun as!

i prefer the traditonal paper and pencil and/or biro technique, as i have more control. plus i enjoy drawing this way too

...or various kinds of pens (not coloring though - I consider drawing to be synonymous with illustration). Doing art with an image manipulation program is art, but its no more drawing than painting is.

Drawing is making lines and shapes with ink/pencil/computer. It's all drawing.

Art is anything that can serve no purpose, something that doesn't function. So as long as it cannot be used for anything other than to be looked at, then it's drawing. =D

I like removing eraser smudges and other mistakes with paint programs.
I also sometimes color using them.

Drawing on the computer is almost like surgical inhancements: fake and cheating

just because your not good with mouse doesnt mean that drawing in photoshop is not drawing, i draw in paint, doing a stick figure in photoshop is drawing, and on paper is drawing and on your mom is drawing XD

And I use a tablet. Yeah a pen. Just like a pencil. Might wanna google that.
I can bet all the money you want: whoever says drawing digitally is cheating and not real is only cause they fail at digital drawing and don't even know what art is. Give them a couple of weeks with a tablet and they'll fall in love with it.

I usually draw with a pencil, then scan it and color it in on photoshop.

Drawing is by hand. Graphic's is different.

This is just the way I prefer it, everyone has their conceptions of what is and what isn't drawing, either way if that person enjoys what they do, with what they use, is shouldn't matter.

A pencil is the way I roll! Coloring comes next!

digital drawings are still drawings

I don't have photoshop, I have Manga Studio, but that is very much still drawing. You still have to colour it and ink it just like you would in real life, and I daresay (for me anyway) it takes just the same length of time.

Drawing is with anything that's not Photoshop!!! If you draw a picture on Photoshop, that's different, but If you edit a picture and claim you drew it, that's NOT drawing.

As long as you are actually drawing. Image software often contains a number of options used for editing and photomanipulation, but they also contain drawing tools that give you complete freedom over every pixel. So as long as you're using that tool, then yes.

On a related note, you would not believe the amount of people I've met who seriously think that animation is "all done by computer". DX
