4. Starting my "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" essay, due Thursday, worth 5% of my final mark, of which I have written only the title and my name in the byline
5. Finishing that pathetic career apptitude test that all 11th-grade students are being forced to complete. (You're supposed to choose which you'd rather do, option [a] or option [b], or, and I quote, "select the least disliked statement." Which, for one, is grammatically incorrect, which doesn't make me trust their judgement too much when it comes to choosing a future career for me; and two, proves to be quite a head-scratcher when we are forced to choose between options such as [a] Polishing prescription contact lenses or [b] Raising turkeys; or [a] running a vegetable farm or [b] Considering myself an interesting person. Both of which, and I kid you not, are actual questions on this test. And that's not even the worst of them)

1. Mixed Martial Arts/StrikeForce - I think it should be renamed "men hugging and dryhumping in a boxing ring with a net." Come on, show some *real* violence. Tip: If I'm tempted to yell "Just kiss him already, dammit!" it's not a good sign.
2. Sleep Deprivation - Who needs alcohol when you've got sleep deprivation? It's the same feeling, and it's cheaper - and legal for under 21's.

10 Nail Polish Shades that _lina_ has Worn in the Past 2 Months

1. Pulsating (Rimmel London) - weirdish purply-pinkish colour that changes colour depending on the lighting. Not on purpose, it's a side-effect of its sheer awesomeness.

2. Blue Lace (Nicole by OPI) - it's blue. Go figure.

3. Luxury Lime (N.Y.C.) - It turned my actual nails yellow. It's disgusting. Don't buy it.

4. Night Blooms (Sally Hansen) - Dark, dark purple. So dark it looks black. I received many "Whoa, emo much?" comments from my friends while wearing it. However, it reflected my mood during exam time, so I really didn't care :)

5. Kool Blue (N.Y.C.) - light blue, looks kinda silvery. Excellent colour if you're like me and are too lazy to re-paint your nails if the polish chips, because you can't see it. Hehe.

6. Wild Orchid (Wet n Wild) - Purple and sparkly. Need I say more?

7. White On (Sally Hansen) - I still can't figure out if the name's a play on words (right on) or it's supposed to be the opposite of White Out. These kind of thoughts keep me up at night.

My concentration has been kinda off lately ^_^

Obviously, some of these are not performed at family events. My dear departed Nana would have departed a lot earlier had I table danced at family weddings.

Also, performing the Macarena in a club is not really my idea of fun. Better when teaching impressionable two year olds the steps.

10 things that pissed amazondebs off today

1. the bus price went up again
2. i forgot my half fair bus so i had to pay even more
3. because I had to pay even more I did not have enough money for a bottled drink (i forgot that as well as a bus pass) and had to buy a tiny carton
4. said tiny carton appeared to only hold a small amount which turned out to be a big amount when it leaked all over my college bag
5. my new english room this year is across college and up 50 billion stairs....well 12 flights
6. i went to wrong lesson and got told off because i could not read my time table due to stupid tiny bursting carton
7. i am in the worst group of people ever to do a drama project
8. i am in said group for 12 weeks and it counts for 20% of final grade
9. i have no clean bag for tomorrow....but shall remeber sports bottle (with drink inside) and bus pass tomorrow....shame i have nothing to carry it in
10. the ultimate thing that annoys me i just sound whiney now lol
