Help Your অনুরাগী and Learn Something New

It's so frustrating. আপনি create a spot, অথবা find a spot আপনি like and add all sorts of content, yet nobody rates it. Days go দ্বারা . . . weeks . . . nothing. Now, আপনি have lots of fans, but do they know your spots অথবা the content you've added? Are আপনি familiar with your অনুরাগী contributions?

Here's an idea. Look at your fans. Go their profiles and look at their activity. Check out what content they've added. আপনি don't have to যোগদান the spot if you're not a true অনুরাগী of the subject, but that shouldn't stop আপনি from rating the content. Try to answer some of their ক্যুইজ questions. Look over their links, videos, and/or images. Rate what আপনি see. Make it a monthly event. Choose one দিন each মাস and on that দিন choose one of your অনুরাগী and rate his অথবা her activity.

দ্বারা exploring your fans' activities you'll help them as well as find out আরো about them. Who knows, আপনি may learn something new and perhaps find something new of which আপনি can be a fan.

Cammie I agree with you Kat. It is very true that you can belong to a spot with large amount of fans and yet no one views your stuff for months and when it is viewed, no one rates anyway. An example of this that I am only to aware of is the Bewitched spot. That spot isn't exactly empty of fans (it has nearly 230) but I have stuff sitting there for weeks that doesn't even get looked at. There's only two fans that do rate and comment on th content there. Oh, I must add that DarkSarcasm does rate and comment although I don't think she's a fan. Coolies, Jody! Anothe eg. Only last night I came across some updates on the Bette Davis spot and when I investigated the images further I discovered about 40 icons sitting there unviewed and unrated. The sad thing was they had been submitted over 1 year ago. Needless to say, I rated everything in that spot whilst there. btw, I rated your article a 4. Good, valid points made!

Sappp I usually look around on the VRSOF spot to see what needs rating, but looking at your fans' activity is a great idea. I'll surely do this!

IsisRain I'm all for your idea. It would definitely be very helpful to do and also interesting.

want2watcheroes I like this idea although some people might rate the content low just because there not a fan of the spot the contents for.

I wasn't sure where to post this প্রবন্ধ so I decided to put it on this spot.

One বছর ago, the lives of many people around the world (especially of the people in Quebec) were turned upside down because of the death of আনাস্তেসিয়াa De Sousa. She was an innocent victim of the shooting that occurred at Dawson College in Montreal, Quebec exactly one বছর পূর্বে on September 13th, 2006. I just wanted to give her one moment of silence on this very sad anniversary and I was hoping আপনি would all যোগদান me in this. I was completely devastated when I first heard the tragic news about this shooting last year...

Holy ব্যাটম্যান I have not been on in forever (slightly longer hiatus than I planned D:) But I am now back and frightened আরো than ever.

When I was last here things were quite good, there was a lot of fandom going on over the kiddies, good for them :) don't start stuff. I come back and what do I get in my face BOOBS! ASS! SEX! What? Last I thought this was a site accessed দ্বারা children and adults. When I think of ফ্যানপপ I don't think of it as a smutty site for people to enjoy in a different inapropriate way.

Petty Ratings

I have noticed recently that ratings on very great material are extremly low. I can understand চলচ্ছবি that are of poor quality but লিঙ্ক like IMDb অথবা fansites are being rated as low. These are what I have been calling "petty rates". If আপনি have a problem with someone on ফ্যানপপ don't take it out on their ratings. Add your own content that আপনি think is better.

When আপনি write a soapbox অথবা find a great image, it can be really disappointing to get a low rating. Personally, it makes me not want to add content. Why spend so much time adding great content when people are going to rate is so low and...

Rising Stars

I'm just here to tell আপনি about a new spot I made. It's called the rising stars spot. For musicians and groups who have a good sound to their music. a good example would be one republic. So if আপনি know some kind of artist that আপনি think should be heard post something about them on this spot.I personally like a band called The Hush Sound. They are an indie rock band who songs are joy to my ears. I put some of their songs on the spot check them out. And remember there will always be a new hit artist.

First of all, I would like to ask why people keep giving Kathiria82 a hard time? None of আপনি have any reason to keep hating on her. she is a nice person and cares about everyone. I think she deserves to be treated just as nicely as everyone else does, especially when she has made the all around most contributions on Fanpop. people keep going to her spot to say how its not fair that she has a spot.
