(Inspired by a interesting debate on a picture of Aguilera on this spot.)

Here how celebrity feminist anaylsis works: For every celebrity i bring up, you have to choose weather they inspire or demonstrate elements of feminism or female empowerment, if so you choose "feminist heroine". If you don't think they do, or perhaps even think they perpetuate negative gender stereotypes, pick "feminist villainess". Simple, right? :)
Feel free to add your own celebrities.

I personally think Christina Aguilera's fabulous. I don't agree with all her veiw-points, but i think she shows a lot of confidence and her songs on domestic abuse are really quite inspiring.

Definitely a feminist. I was going to go into this whole speech on why she is, but it would be too long lol. I'll just leave it as that.

^ That has nothing to do with her being a feminist. She is a strong woman who believes in the rights of women and equality. As a child, seeing her mother abused by her father made her a stronger person. She sings songs to empower women to be strong and never let a man or anyone else let you down. She talks about being a strong woman in a couple of interviews and she took some pictures promoting the rights of women, “Every woman has the ability or the drive to do it all and have it all.." -Christina
Also, her dressing provocative doesn't make her any less of a feminist. She is comfortable in her skin and is proud of her self. Skinny or thicker she embraces her body because she believes everyone should feel beautiful about themselves. She is a good role model to those with body issues. Dressing the way she does sometimes has nothing to do with her being "slutty".
You are entitled to your own opinion, but it seems as though you're letting your hate become a main factor in you deciding whether she is a feminist or not.

@pandawinx, maybe I will have to *wink wink* lol. When I have time though. If I do it, I want it to be a good article. :D

^ Hooray! :D Possible-maybe-article!!

@Starryeyed111, i can totally understand why it may make you feel uncomfortable.
But surely, if she chooses to dress like that, that is her decision?

I don't know much about her, but I was personally disgusted by her "Not Myself Tonight" video. The way she dressed and acted in that video seemed to me to objectify women by portraying them as sex symbols.
